On
July 13, 2006, the top musicians in Nashville, backup vocalists and Jim
Case, producer, joined Marvin in the recording studio.
Marvin
recorded two songs, self penned "Newkie Brown" and "Let Her
Go" written by Darryl
Gylten.
What super songs they are! Stay tuned, you'll be able to hear a snippet
of each one soon!
Marvin's
brother, Bob, also recorded his self penned tune "I Love Texas"! Great
voices run in the Rainwater family!
Everyone
had a wonderful time and topped the trip off with a visit backstage at
the Grand Ole Opry! Marvin was welcomed by many of his friends, Ray
Price, Jimmy C. Newman, Jim Ed Brown, Connie Smith, Little Jimmy
Dickens, and the worlds greatest disc jockey, Eddie Stubbs.
Regrettably, NO ONE HAD A CAMERA !?*#!
